Tech and Ops Management Reporting Analyst, Assistant Vice President
The Tech and Ops Management Reporting Analyst (AVP) will play a critical support role in all aspects of the Tech and Ops (T&O) Management team, providing support to all business management functions. This role will include strategic, operational, project, and administrative responsibilities that cuts across T&O, with a strong focus on supporting administration of and reporting to the Board of Directors (and its committees) as well as the development and delivery of insightful dashboards and reporting for executive leadership. The role will provide an opportunity to work across the firm to help drive results, support strategic initiatives, improve processes, foster collaboration and alignment, and achieve more efficient operational performance.
The chosen candidate will be highly organized, resourceful, and self-motivated, as well as possess strong communication, project management and analytical/financial skills. The ideal candidate will have a combination of focus and adaptability and display an eagerness to collaborate on a wide variety of tasks. The individual will also possess a high level of personal and professional integrity and sound judgment. The AVP must possess strong organizational skills with astute attention to detail and have the ability to manage multiple workstreams or deliverables at once.
Responsibilities:
Project / Program Management and Executive Reporting
• In partnership with the team, develop executive reporting / presentations for various forums and audiences, including our Executive Committee and Board of Directors, and support messaging and communication in the form of QBRs, strategic presentations, meeting notes;
• Support consistency in achieving strategic goals across the T&O organization, including creating and reinforcing the linkage between business unit as well as among global and regional strategies;
• Enable effective communication and goal alignment across the organization and help drive and support strategic business outcomes. Track performance against strategic objectives, escalate any risks to plan, and work with leadership to plan and execute mitigation strategies and initiatives;
• Communicate across multiple stakeholders in different business areas, including senior and executive leadership; and
• Provide targeted support e.g., Board off-sites, Investor Relations presentations, and other COO external presentations.
Business Intelligence Reporting
• Support the COO Head of Business Intelligence Reporting in work with various leaders to develop T&O operational data and reporting, including identifying key metrics, leading versus lagging indicators, key performance indicators and key risk indicators, and thresholds for further escalation;
• Facilitate and iterate such regular reporting on weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual cadences;
• Anticipate upcoming reporting requirements, be responsive to on-going feedback, and actively seek out enhancements based on improved data and functionality when available;
• Maintain relationships with key stakeholders across the T&O organization to provide support on reporting development and BAU processes;
• Engage directly with State Street Corporate functions to ensure that all reports are aligned to the golden source of data and reduce or eliminate manual adjustments;
• Identify opportunities to streamline reporting across the T&O organization; and
• Identify and integrate new applications/tools/processes to enhance the efficiency and engagement around reporting dashboards.
Strategic Alignment
Education & Preferred Qualifications
• Minimum of five years professional experience, including in a large, global servicing firm;
• Strong outcome-oriented mindset and ability to break down barriers to achieve strategic goals;
• Experience with senior and executive management and/or board reporting;
• Excellent communication skills and ability to influence and work collaboratively with colleagues to drive operational goals;
• Ability to think strategically, managing complexity, change and multiple priorities;
• Experience with BI reporting tools (PowerBI, Tableau, Qlik) and ETL applications (Tableau Prep, Alteryx) preferred;
• Strong team presence, leadership, coaching, mentoring, communication, and presentation skills; and
• Energy and enthusiasm for a job well done, with a good sense of humor.

Salary Range:
$90,000 - $142,500 Annual
The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
